Dearest Valorie,
Starting with stories of the VIRUS license plate.....through the later years with Dad helping with home repairs or enjoying a drink together...keep those precious memories alive and continue to share them. Your Dad may be gone from here, but he will remain in your heart forever and will visit you in your thoughts, sometimes when you least expect it...sometimes when you need it most.
Condolences to Tom, Mom Schwarzmann, Kathy, Lisa, Kristen, Carleen, Karen and your families as well. Greiving is hard work, so remember to take care of yourselves and each other as your travel this new fork in the road. Love to all.

To the Schwarzmann family:
When I joined Pratt & Whitney in 1968, I was assigned to Russ as my senior test engineer. Russ taught me all the ropes, and I admired him for his practical and direct approach to engineering. We worked together for two years, and each day was an adventure. In my retirement, I've always thought of Russ and am glad that he's been involved in so many public service activities. He certainly was an ingenious man and an asset to all that came in contact with him. I certainly miss him and will always remember our working time together. May God bless all of you.

Dear Valorie and family,

Sending love and hugs your way as you celebrate the life and memories of your dad. Though we never had the opportunity to meet him, your love for him came through in the stories that you told. He sounded like one hell of a guy who, we know, raised one hell of a daughter.

Love and hugs, always.

Sending my deepest condolences at this sad time. I have good memories of the Schwarzmann family from when I babysat for the girls. Val was a Brownie than and Karen was just a baby. Mr. S sure loved his crazy household of females. May your good memories bring you comfort.

What wonderful memories we've all shared of our Uncle Russell, along with our Aunt Vi, cousins Valorie, Kathy, Lisa, Kristin, Karleen, and Karen-- times with aunts, uncles, cousins, parents and grandparents when we were younger, and more recently celebrating our mom's 90th and a reunion family dinner a few short months ago. He was truly a kind soul and someone we will all sorely miss. If we all love and treat others with just a little more kindness as he did while he was with us, the world will be a better place.

Dear Vi and family,
Russ will be missed. I will always remember him for his smile and a greeting whenever I saw him.
He was a lucky man to have been able to see all his girls grow into adulthood and of course to see and know all those special grandchildren. Treasure the memories.!
