Victor G Videll born in Hartford, Ct on 2/12/1944 passed in March 9, 2024 after many years of struggling with kidney disease. Victor enlisted into the Army and served between March 25, 1968 through March 24, 1971. He served in Vietnam from September 1968 through September of 1969. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service against a hostile force in the Republic of Vietnam/ Good Conduct Medal/ Vietnam Service Medal/ Expert Qualification Badge with Rifle Bar and the Republic of. Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm Unit Citation Badge. He was a long time resident of East Hampton, Ct. after his military service he spent years working as a carpenter. He obtained his tractor trailer license and drove for Parker Street Used Auto Parts in Manchester, Ct. after driving for years he transitioned into the customer service side of the business with them until he retired. He is survived by four sons, Roy Videll of Manchester, Victor Videll, Lance Videll and Lee Videll of Renton Washington, and daughter Lindy Videll of East Hampton, his mother, Jean Videll of St.Petersburg, Fl and sister, Deborah Neumann of St.Petersburg, Fl. He also leaves two grandsons, Wesley Videll and Troy Videll of Manchester, Ct. along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded In death by his wife of 50 years, Linda Videll, his father, Roy Videll and brothers Bradley, Roger, Christopher, Merrick and Troy Videll. A graveside service will be held at St Patrick’s Church Cemetery on March 22, 2024 at 10:30 AM.
