Susan (Gilbert) Kelley

Susan Eileen Kelley, widow of Charles Kelley, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2025, at the age of 79. She was the daughter of David Webster Gilbert and Irene Bailey Ryan. Susan is survived by her three children: Charles Kelley and his wife Wendy Kelley, Laurie Persechino and her husband Robert Persechino, and Lisa Kelley Preli. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Michelle and John Preli; Chantelle Kelley Benner and her husband Gerald Benner; Nicholas Kelley; and Robert, Ryan, and Christopher Persechino. Susan leaves behind her four siblings: Gladys Butler; Harold Ryan and his wife Annmarie Ryan; Michael Ryan and his wife Krista Ryan; and Debra Jarrell and her husband Russell Jarrell. Susan and Charles raised their family in Hebron, Connecticut, where they lived most of their lives. They were married for 40 years. Susan loved spending time with her family and friends and was a devoted member of Hebron Church of Hope. She had a special love for her many dogs, especially her beloved Terra and Roue.
