Steven Mark Katz

Steven Mark Katz, 74, of East Hampton, beloved husband of Barbara (Carraher) Katz passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born February 23, 1948 in Jamaica Queens, NY he was the son of Philip and Sydell (Endler) Katz. Steven had been most recently employed with wonderful friends and colleagues at DXC Technologies, but spent most of his career at Western Union as a Human Resources Executive. Besides his wife Barbara he is survived by his son Joseph Katz and wife Tirzah of Brookline, MA, his two daughters Laurie Smith and husband Edward of Highland Mills, NY, Tracy King and husband Jeffrey of Franklin, MA, a brother Robert Katz of Florida, a brother-in-law Joseph Carraher of Long Island, NY, and his three beloved grandchildren Sydney, Theo and Jude. There will be a gathering at the Spencer Funeral Home 112 Main St. East Hampton on Sunday June 26th from 10:00AM until 12 Noon at which time the funeral procession will lead us to Lake View Cemetery for the internment and committal service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Steven’s memory to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital at www.stjude.org.
