Sandra (Kauffman) Barkyoumb

Sandra (Kauffman) Barkyoumb, 68, of Colchester, beloved wife of Ronald Barkyoumb passed away peacefully Tuesday June 14th . born January 22, 1954 in Middletown, CT, she was the daughter of the late William and Elaine (Rittman) Kauffman. Sandra was employed at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft and was the first woman to receive and graduate from the four year apprenticeship.  Sandra loved horses and did many horse shows in the Tri State Association. One of her favorites was the Haddam Neck Fair along with her sister Nancy. Besides her loving husband she is survived by her two daughters Kellie Barkyoumb Hartigan of Willimantic, Nicole Barkyoumb of Colchester, five brothers Scott, Mark, Blake, Troy, and Keith Kauffman, four sisters Elaine Marston, Linda Johnson, Nancy Bourne and Dawn Zeller, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home 112 Main St. East Hampton on Thursday June 23rd from 5:00PM until 7:00PM.
