Robert Gordon Miner

Robert Gordon Miner, 96, of Cobalt, beloved husband of the late Sally Sartre Miner passed away Monday July 6th at Portland Care and Rehabilitation. Born Oct. 20 1929 in Marlborough, CT, he was the son of the late Henry and Evelyn (Chapman) Miner. Robert was an auto mechanic and was part owner of the former Brown and Miner Chevron Station in East Hampton. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1951 thru 1953.He is survived by his brothers Warren “Woody” Miner of East Hampton and family, David Miner (Theresa) of East Hampton and family, a sister Barbara Richards of GA, Sister-in-law and brother-in-law Beverly and Matthew Walton and family of East Hampton, Sister-in-law Janice Littlefield and brother-in-law George of CO and family, several nieces and nephews including Darlene, Diana, Marla, Brud, David Jr., Stephen, Lynda, Mark Sr, Susan, Quentin, Melanie, Kim, Lonna, Vaughn and many friends.
