Robert H. Lord Jr.

Robert Howard Lord Jr., 62, of Marlborough died peacefully on Saturday Oct. 22nd at Touchpoints of Bloomfield. Born March 12, 1960 in Manchester he was the son of the late Robert H. and Lillian (Boothroyd) Lord. Robert graduated high school and attended Springfield College. He was a lifelong active member of the Grange starting in the Marlborough Grange at the age of 12. He loved farming and gardening on his family farm in Marlborough. Later in life he enjoyed painting and drawing. Robert was a loving son and brother who took care of both his mother and father as their health declined later in life.

Robert is survived by his brother Arthur Lord of Marlborough, his sister Marjorie Lord of Florida, nieces and nephews James, Carl, Heather, Melissa, Cheyenne, and Andy and many close friends.

Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home 112 Main St. East Hampton on Sunday Oct. 30th from 4:00PM until 6:00PM. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00AM in the Spencer Funeral Home followed by burial in the family plot in Marlboro Cemetery.
