Robert Desaulnier Obituary

Robert A. Desaulnier, 76, of East Hampton, beloved husband of Bonnie (Harris) Desaulnier passed away surrounded by family at Hartford Hospital on Monday January 23, 2023. Born Sept. 29, 1946 in Danielson he was the son of Irene Desaulnier and the late Wilfred Desaulnier. Robert served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He was retired from Pratt & Whitney where he was an IT professional. Robert was in a pool league at the Glastonbury Senior Center, Robert was involved in the arts and was a member of the CT Watercolor Society, Marlborough Arts Center, East Hampton Art Assoc. , and won Best In Show at the Slater Museum art show in Norwich, CT. He enjoyed fishing and he never missed his grandson’s youth hockey games. Besides his wife Bonnie and his mother Irene he is survived by his son Carl Desaulnier of Norwich, brothers Wilfred Desaulnier of Enfield, Paul Desaulnier of Moosup, sisters Michelle Racicot of New London, Anne Holmes of Ellington, his two grandchildren Alyssa Silva and Hunter Desaulnier and his great grandson Cole Silva, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home 112 Main St. East Hampton on Monday Jan. 30th from 4:00PM until 6:00PM.
