Richard John Caron

Richard John Caron, 81, beloved husband of 59 years to Lois (Broadhurst) Caron, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 30th at Middlesex Hospital. Born August 10, 1941 in Hartford he was the son of the late August and Grace (Dumas) Caron. Richard was retired from the MDC where he was a maintenance foreman at the Farmington Reservoir. Richard was a lifelong resident of East Hampton and a communicant of St. Patrick Church. Besides his wife Lois he is survived by his four sons Mark Caron of Colchester, Christopher Caron and wife Kelly of Kansas, Sean Caron and wife Teesha of East Hampton, Andre Caron and wife Laurie Caron of East Hampton, his grandchildren Trevor, Cierra, Brianna, Charlie, KC, Mercedes, Zachary and Hunter, and his great grandchildren Karly, Emma and Brantley. He was predeceased by his four siblings. Richard enjoyed woodworking, yardwork, many trips to the casinos, getting his coffee and paper at the local Citgo and most of all he loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
