Paul Fachini Obituary

Paul “Nilo” F. Fachini, 66, of East Hampton, CT beloved husband of forty-two years to Lisa (Ladyga) Fachini tragically passed away Wednesday, October 1st at Hartford Hospital after sustaining life threatening injuries from a pedestrian accident.

Paul was born May 21,1959 in Bristol, CT and was raised in the Forestville section. He was the son of the late Nilo and Margaret (Conroy) Fachini.

He was a resident of East Hampton for over thirty six years and a parishioner of St. Patrick Church in East Hampton as a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus St. John Paul II Parish Council 6190. Paul loved spending time with his family and friends, cooking, fishing and gardening. He could often be found on his porch listening to music, reading a book, making pickles or in the backyard in his woodworking shop. Paul also enjoyed the game of baseball and was a lifelong NY Yankees fan.

Paul spent his career in construction at Manafort Brothers retiring just four years ago as a concrete superintendent. Paul was extremely dedicated, hard working, and dependable. Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was very generous with his time, always willing to lend a helping hand. Paul was a jack of all trades and nothing made him happier than being able to pass down his skills to his children and grandchildren.

Paul is survived by his wife Lisa, his children Angela Hruska (Buddy) of Colchester, Allie Fachini of East Hampton, Neil Fachini (Maggie) of Port Jefferson Station NY, Kelsey Fachini of East Hampton, his brother John Fachini (Theresa), three sisters Margaret Fachini, Kathi Knapp (Steven), Bernadette Dunn (Bob) and his six beloved grandchildren Mason, Max, Harper, Declan, Lilly, and Shane.
