Paul J Emmerling

Paul J. Emmerling, 73, of East Haddam, beloved husband of Jacqueline (Plude) Emmerling passed away Dec. 6, 2025 at Middlesex Hospital. Born July 22, 1952 in Manchester, CT he was the son of the late George and Eleanor (Yule) Emmerling. Paul enjoyed cooking and had worked as a chef at the Middlesex Opera House Restaurant and at the Gelston House in East Haddam. He was employed by Unilever for over 20 years and most recently had worked in shipping and receiving for Whelan Engineering. Besides his wife he is survived by his son Paul Emmering Jr. of East Haddam, and his two sisters Susan Emmerling of Mt. Vernon, ME and Elizabeth Emmerling O’Donnell of Vernon, CT.
