It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Shelberg, born on October 3, 1937. Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Shelberg, and her parents, Clara and John Lewis. 

She is survived by her brother Dennis Lewis; devoted daughter, Richelle Gorham and husband Jeff; her son, Rick Shelberg; daughter, Lisa Hershey; granddaughter, Nicole Sinsigalli and husband Nick; grandson, Eric Hinxman and wife Brittany; granddaughter, Alissa Hinxman; granddaughter, Asia Bengtson, and husband Corey; grandson, Alex Banning; grandson, Malique Banning; granddaughter, Madison Gorham; granddaughter, Leighanna; granddaughter; Adrenne, and her many great grandkids. 

Patricia's life was a testament to the power of selfless compassion. Throughout her years, she dedicated herself to helping others in any way possible. As a Social Worker, Patricia played a vital role in reuniting people with their birth families, offering support and understanding to those seeking connection. 

Her legacy of kindness, generosity, and tireless service will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Patricia Shelberg will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of sharing in her warmth, love, and commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others. 

In this time of grief, we extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Patricia Ann Shelberg. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration for those who mourn her passing. 

 Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 11th at 10:00 A.M. at St. Patricks Church, 47 West High St., East Hampton. Friends and family may call on Sunday, December 10th from 4:00 - 6:00 at Spencer Funeral Home, 112 Main St., East Hampton.
