Noraine A. Watson

Noraine A. Watson, 71, of Colchester, beloved wife of Richard Watson passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday Sept. 12th at her home. Born Dec. 3, 1953 in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Joseph  Maslek and Margaret McCaughty. Noraine was raised by her adoptive parents Mary and Stephen Hajostek in Stafford Springs, CT. Noraine had worked as a dietary aide in nursing homes throughout her career. She was a member of the Christian Life Chapel of Colchester. She is survived by her husband Richard Watson, her daughter Rose Strickland and her partner Jamie Yeargan of Norwich, her son William Strickland of TN, a sister Janice Angrisani of Stafford Springs, her two granddaughters Hailie Szewc and Ava Yeargan, Mother-in-law Francine Watson, brother and sister in laws Raymond and Jane Watson Ralph Watson and Christine Watson, also many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law Carol and Bruce Peterson. The family would like to thank those who helped during her illness Troop K in Colchester, Dr. James Oulette of Marlborough, Dr. Jose deDios of Norwich and the Hartford Health Care Home Hospice. Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home 112 Main St. East Hampton on Thursday Sept. 18th from 10AM until 12PM. A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon followed by burial in Linwood Cemetery in Colchester.
