Michael F. Varni

Michael Frank Varni, 67, of East Hampton passed away Tuesday May 11th at his home. Born Sept. 18, 1953 in Hebron he was the son of the late Louis and Madeline (Higgins) Varni. Michael had worked as an upholsterer for Farmatron in Farmington, CT until his retirement. Michael was a quiet man who believed in treating others as he wanted to be treated. He would drop everything to help someone in need. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Michael J. and Lisa Varni of Moodus, his daughter Kristina Adams of East Hampton, brothers Randy Varni of NC, Louis Varni and wife Mary Kaye of East Hampton, Kenneth Varni and wife Susan of NY, sisters Laurie Turner of Moodus, Mary Yarrow of Moodus, and his two grandchildren Olivia and Logan Varni. He was predeceased by his former wife and mother of his children Penny Tarsi and his sister Carol Varni. A Private graveside service will be held in Marlboro Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
