Michael George Mitchell

Michael George Mitchell, 60, of Moodus, beloved husband of Sheri (Lockard) Mitchell passed away suddenly at his home on Friday Sept. 13, 2024. Born Feb. 2, 1964, in Yonkers, NY, He was the son of George W. Mitchell and the late Mary (Rueb) Mitchel of VA.  Michael had worked as a handyman doing all types of maintenance work. Besides his wife and father he is survived by his son George Mitchell and fiancé Brittany of Vernon, daughter Mikayla Fulton and husband Michael of Enfield, Jovan Mitchell, who he thought of as a son, and fiancé Kasia of New Britain, his siblings brothers Ray, Jeff, Mark, James, and sisters Wanda, Cynthia, Tammy, and Brenda. He leaves behind his prides and joy, grandson Isaiah and Gianna who he thought of as a granddaughter. He also leaves behind a large extended family including Aunts and Uncles, In-Laws, along with numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home 112 Main St. East Hampton on Sunday Sept. 29th from 10:00AM until 11:00AM with a service to be held at 11:00AM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
