Matthew William Gromko Stamm

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Matthew William Gromko Stamm, 28, of East Hampton, CT. Born in Middletown on January 16th, 1997, he was loved fiercely by his mother, Dena Gromko Stamm, father, the late James W. Stamm, his brother Kyle and so many beloved family and friends.

Matthew graduated from Middlesex Community College with a degree in Multi-Media Production. He loved making art, producing, and making music. Music was his passion, and he shared his songs and albums through “SHMIFE Music.”

Matthew enjoyed collecting, everything! He loved movies, he could recite every word to every movie he had ever seen. He loved spending time with his friends and family. Matthew was known for his kind, caring and quick-witted personality. His laugh was infectious, you could not help but laugh along with him. He was inquisitive and had a voracious appetite for History and knew so many random fun facts.

Matthew’s loss is deeply felt by his family and all those who knew and loved him. His memory will continue to live on in those lives he touched.
