Mary Jo (Richichi) Emmons

Mary Jo (Richichi) Emmons, 90, widow of Lawrence “Larry” Emmons, passed away on Thursday Aug. 15th at Middlesex Hospital. Born January 19, 1934 in Danbury, CT she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary (Domain) Richichi. Mary lived in East Hampton most of her life. She was an EMT for the East Hampton Ambulance Association for many years. Mary was a past president of the East Hampton Old Home Day Celebration, past member of the East Hampton Congregational Church and a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 5095. She is survived by her daughters Patty Ann Emmons and Tammy Scherp both of East Hampton , a sister Patricia Lamphier of MA, four grandchildren Amanda, David, Joshua, Sarah, and her two great grandchildren Timothy and Jolene.  Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home 112 Main St. East Hampton on Thursday Aug. 22nd from 5:00PM until 7:00PM. Burial will be Saturday Aug. 24th at 9:00AM in the CT State Veteran’s Cemetery where her beloved Larry was laid to rest in 2018.
