Marlene Ann (Neville) Ruzicka

Marlene Ann Ruzicka, 84, of East Haddam and formerly of Middletown, widow of John Ruzicka passed away peacefully on Tuesday Aug. 22nd at Chesterfield Health Care in Chester. Born Dec. 22, 1938 in Middletown she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth (Baldwin) Neville. Marlene was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Middletown and had worked as a Nurses Aide at Middlesex Hospital and then at Brownell company in Moodus. She is survived by her son John Ruzicka and his wife Holly of East Haddam, her daughter Corina McAllister and husband Mark of Bristol, and her granddaughter Angelique Caffrey. She was one of three siblings including her brothers Michael and Joseph Neville.

Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home 112 Main St. East Hampton on Wednesday Aug. 30th from 9:00AM until 10:15AM. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30AM followed by a Funeral Liturgy at St. John Church in Middletown. Burial will follow in the family plot in St. John’s Cemetery.
