Marlene Hall Obituary

Marlene Hall, 80, of Middletown, CT passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 11, 2026 surrounded by her family.  She was born on June 27, 1945 in New Britain, CT and was the daughter of the late Russell Rich and Dorothy (Bittner) Rich of Plainville.  She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Rodney Hall of Middletown; children Robin Salafia and her husband John of Haddam; Lisa Pitruzzello and her husband Vincent of Portland; and Robert Hall and his wife Karen of Cromwell; 6 grandchildren:  Joseph Piatti and his fiance Lindsey Taylor, Jessica Piatti, Daniel Pitruzzello and his wife Christie, Gina Pitruzzello, Danielle Oliveira and her husband Jonathan, and Devan Hall and his fiance Rachel Roche; 8 great-grandchildren:  Josie, Luca, Aria, Ava, Vincent, Lyla, Jonah and Aurora; and her sister Carolann Bennett.  She was predeceased by her sister Janice Morse. Marlene was known for her giving heart and sense of humor.  She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Spending time with her family was what she treasured most and she showered them with countless acts of love and kindness throughout her life.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 20th at the Spencer Funeral Home, 112 Main Street, East Hampton CT.  There will be a calling hour from 11 am to 12 pm.  In accordance with the families wishes, there will be a private funeral service and burial.  Those wishing to honor her life can make a donation in her name to Middlesex Health Hospice at https://middlesexhealth.org/donate
