Marie Louise Russo

April 21, 1940 – August 25, 2025

85 of East Hampton, Ct, formerly of Providence, RI, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 25, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul Russo.

Born on April 21, 1940, Marie was the beloved daughter of the late Arsene and Anna (Gross) Gisquiere. She grew up in Providence, where she spent most of her life before moving to East Hampton, CT in 2010.

Marie enjoyed playing cards, doing crossword puzzles, and going to the casino with her husband. She also loved to sit on the front steps of her home in Providence and chat with her neighbors and long-time friends.

Marie is survived by her loving sons, Raymond (Renee) Russo of Warwick, RI and Anthony (Denise) Russo of East Hampton, CT. Her cherished grandchildren, Michael Russo, Jessica (Brendan) Rix, Alec Russo, and Jenna Russo.

She was the dear sister to Carol (Bill) Sjogren of Florida, Linda (Henry) Pelletier of Georgia, and the late Raymond Chartier, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister in-law to the late Claire (Robert) Bessette and Donald (Barbara) Russo.

In keeping with Marie’s wishes, there will be no services.
