Marie E. Jones

Marie Jones, 70, of Marlborough passed away at Apple Rehab in Colchester on Wednesday July 20, 2022. Born August 29, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Anna Rose Jones. Marie was a graduate of Nathan Hale Ray High School in Moodus, and worked for Brownell Company in Moodus for many years. Marie was living in the Florence Lord Senior Housing in Marlborough and had many friends there including Joy, John, Deb, Vivian, Crystal and Susan. She loved to play cards, Bingo, and get together with family and friends and the Jones Girls. She leaves behind Uncle Bob Jones of Colchester, Uncle Kenneth Jones of East Hampton, Aunt Alice Jones of Colchester, Uncle Don Emerson of East Hampton and many cousins.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be a Memorial at a later date and burial will be in Hebron Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Sandy Peszynski Breast Cancer Foundation 93 East High St. East Hampton, CT 06424.
