Lloyd Neudecker Obituary

Lloyd A. Neudecker, 71, of East Haddam, passed away Tuesday March 10th at Hartford Hospital. Born May 19, 1954 in Spokane WA, he was the son of the late John and Ruth (Robinson) Neudecker. Lloyd was a lifelong resident of East Haddam and was retired from Whelen Engineering. Lloyd was a lifelong member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in East Haddam. Lloyd was a Past President of the UCONN Friends of Soccer and served on the East Haddam Senior Housing Board of Directors. He was active in the republican party and had served as an election moderator. Lloyd was an avid International Soccer fan and was looking forward to the FIFA World Cup. Lloyd was kind and the consummate caregiver for the family.

 He is survived by his brothers Larry J. Neudecker of East Haddam, Lee E. Neudecker (Misti) of Alaska, his sisters Laurie D’Aquila (Nicholas) of East Haddam, Lynn Woodward (Charles) of East Haddam and numerous nieces and nephews.

 Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home 112 Main St. East Hampton on Friday March 20, 2026 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday March 21, 2026 at 11:00AM in the St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church 31 Main St. East Haddam. Burial will be private in the family plot in Rock Landing Cemetery Haddam Neck. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the East Haddam Ambulance Assoc. P.O. Box 17 Moodus, Ct 06469.
