Kathleen (Ferrigno) Anzalone, 85, of Cobalt and formerly of East Haddam, passed away peacefully on Saturday Sept. 7, 2024. Born Feb. 6, 1939 in Middletown she was the daughter of the late Louis and Lucy (Cavanna) Ferrigno of East Hampton. Kathleen was predeceased by her husband of 40 years Thomas R. Anzalone, sisters Paula Riley Wiley, Johanne Pardi. She is survived by her step son Scott Anzalone of Middlefield, sister, Frances Samuelson of Portland and many nieces and nephews. Kathleen became an airline stewardess after studying in New York. She worked for a few years at CBT and other banks as a bank teller, before joining her husband in their new business in East Haddam, Eagle Aviation, which she helped run until her retirement. Kathleen’s family would like to thank the staff of Cobalt Lodge Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center for the care and kindness shown to Kathleen over the past years. Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home 112 Main St. East Hampton on Thursday Sept. 12th from 9:30AM until 10:30AM. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00AM in St. John Paul II Parish St. Patrick Church 47 West High St. East Hampton. Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Patrick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St John Paul II Parish in her memory.
