Karen Starr Kneeland, 59, of Middletown (formerly of East Hampton), passed out of this life and into glory on Saturday, Oct. 12th surrounded by her family. Born on July 24, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Rosalie (Black) Kneeland. Karen had worked as a Legal Secretary until her retirement. Karen was much loved by many friends and those who knew her and will be tremendously missed. Karen had a deep love for her cats, liked to cross-stitch, work on puzzles and was an avid reader of Danielle Steele novels. In her youth she played the clarinet, liked horseback riding and taking Jazz dance classes. She is survived by her sister, Kimberly Daniolos and her husband Peter of South Windsor, her brother, Scott Kneeland and his wife Maria of Cromwell, her nieces and her nephew, Marissa Daniolos (her Goddaughter), Nickolos Daniolos, Jennifer Kneeland and Gwendolyn Kneeland.
