Judson Everett Turney, 66, of East Hampton and Hebron, beloved husband of Karen (O’Brien) Turney passed away Wednesday January 26th at Marlborough Medical Center. Born Nov. 24, 1955 in Willimantic he was the son of the late Judson and Elizabeth (Stebbins) Turney. Judson was a truck driver in the waste removal business most of his career, having worked for Tobacco Valley Sanitation and most recently All Waste. Judson was a past member of the East Hampton Volunteer Fire Department and enjoyed building and racing slot cars as a hobby. Besides his wife Karen he is survived by his step son Jonathan Lindbom and wife Kelly of SC, his step daughter Sara Perrin and husband Tom of Hebron, brother Robert Turney, three sisters Christine Everett and husband Mitchell, Kathy Camp, Helen DiPace, six grandchildren Abbey and Jack Perrin, Katlyn Morse, Ryan, Victoria and Jessica Lindbom, and two great grandchildren, nieces and nephews Jesse, Shannon, Desiree, Jonathan, Renee, Adam, Anthony and Michael and 3 great nieces. Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the East Hampton Volunteer Fire Department in his memory.
