Josephine H (DiMaio) Remillard

Josephine (DiMaio) Remillard born December 1, 1933 in Wethersfield CT, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025. Up until the end, Josephine maintained her kindness, grace, compassion and appreciation of her family and friends, and expressed gratitude for her long life, full of wonderful and varied experiences. She struggled with some health issues, but stayed true to her love for family, friends, and extended family.

Josephine was pre-deceased by her husband Walter Remillard, Sr.; her son Francis X. Remillard; and daughter Terri Lynn (Remillard) Stevens, and two brothers. She is survived by her remaining children and their spouses: Walter, Jr. & his wife Elaine; Carol (DiFronzo) & her husband Rocco; Joann (Gagne) & her husband Michael; Laverne (Crockett) & her husband Jon; and Richard Remillard; and her son-in-law Joseph Stevens & his wife Kristina. She leaves behind 13 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren; and 3 Great Great Grandchildren, her eight remaining brothers and sisters and many dear friends and extended family.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday March 29th, at 11:00 AM in St. Patrick Church located at 47 West High Street East Hampton CT, followed by burial in St Patrick Cemetery located across the street from church.
