Joseph A. Pelletti

Joseph A. Pelletti, 85, of East Hampton, CT entered eternal rest on July 16, 2023 after a long and beautiful life.  Joe was a devoted husband and shared 60 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Virginia.  He was the son of the late Joseph Pelletti and Olive Pelletti Lynch.  Joe was a lifelong resident of East Hampton and a graduate of the Class of 1955.  After a 32-year career, Joe retired from the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation.  Joe’s family was his pride and joy.  He enjoyed all family activities, celebrating his children and grandchildren’s accomplishments, and spending family vacations in Maine.  He was known for his sense of humor, practical jokes, and lending a helping hand to others.  He was a member of Saint Patrick Church.

   He will be missed and long remembered by wife Virginia and his children Sharon Dufour (Michael), Joseph Pelletti, (Lisa), Janet Pelletti, and his grandchildren Jeffrey, Thomas, Jillian, Brandon, Melina, Capriana, and Justin. Joe is also survived by his brother-in-law, Peter Arcidiacono (Gail), and sisters-in-law Laura Arcidiacono, Elizabeth Archer and Mary Ann Sarratt.

   Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home, 112 Main Street East Hampton, CT, on Friday July 21st from 9:00AM until 10:30AM. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30AM with a Funeral Liturgy being celebrated at 11:00AM in St. Patrick Church 47 W.
