Joseph P. Bilodeau

Joseph P. Bilodeau, 72, of East Hampton passed away Saturday March 16th at Hartford Hospital surrounded by his family. Born February 24, 1952 in Hartford he was the son of the late Joseph P. and Eleanor (Matthews) Bilodeau Sr. Joseph worked in the Construction Industry as a Drywall subcontractor. He brought love and light to the hearts of every single person that he met, and was the kind of man who everyone just wanted to be around. Joe was patient and kind, he was generous and funny. He loved his family and friends with a ferocity that can't be matched and he will be devastatingly missed. He is survived by his son Daniel Bilodeau and his wife Arista of Vernon, two daughters Lynn Gunas of East Hampton, Michelle Kuehmstedt and her husband Timothy of PA, a brother Thomas Bilodeau ( Marielle) of Hebron, three sisters Jeanne Bilodeau of Windsor, Donna Soucy (Donald) of East Hartford, Janice Bilodeau of Hartford, his seven grandchildren Brittany Fragola, Jason Gunas Jr, Brianna Boyington, Joshua Gunas, Jacob Bilodeau, Olivia Bilodeau, Everly Bilodeau, and his four great grandchildren Franco, Julian, Christian, and Aria. Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home 112 Main St. East Hampton on Thursday March 21st from 5:00PM until 7:00PM with a funeral service at 7:00PM.
