Joan F. (Testa) Yankowski

Joan Frances (Testa) Yankowski passed away peacefully after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Born July 5, 1941 in Hartford she was the daughter of the late Francis B. Testa and Jane (Williams) Testa Zimmerman. She is survived by her two brothers Joseph (Susan) Testa, Richard Testa, her five children Shelley Madore, Sharon Moroch, James “Jimmy” Yankowski III, Susan (Matthew) Soares, and Jeffrey Yankowski. She also has eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Joan made her home in East Hampton until 2008 where she was a childcare provider for many years. She was an avid reader, doll collector and animal lover, especially her dog. Her last years in Cromwell where filled with many activities within her senior living community. Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home on Wednesday June 13th from 10:00AM until 11:00AM. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM. Burial will follow in Lake View Cemetery.
