Jean Carolyn (Johnson) Schleidt

Jean Carolyn (Johnson) Schleidt, 92, of Hadlyme passed away peacefully Saturday evening Sept. 2nd at Middlesex Hospital. Born April 20, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Eva (Kruger) Johnson. Jean had worked as a bookkeeper for EIS Automotive in Middletown before her retirement. She had been a member of Bushy Hill Springer Spaniel Club where she participated in the field trials. She is survived by her son Jeffrey W. Schleidt of TN, her daughter Diane L. Darcy of Hadlyme, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons Rodney C. Schleidt, and  Timothy W. Schleidt, her brother Arthur Johnson, and her sister Barbara Johnson. A graveside service will be held Saturday Sept. 9th at 10:00AM in Rock Landing Cemetery with the Rev. James Simpson officiating.
