Janet Lee Blanchard

Janet Lee Blanchard, 70, of East Hampton passed away at her home in East Hampton on Friday February 7, 2025. Born Feb. 10, 1954 in Norwich she was the daughter of the late Marcel J. and Teresa D. (Jarvis) Blanchard. Janet had lived in Moodus, CT, for 30 years before moving to East Hampton in 2020. Janet was very creative, she enjoyed the outdoors and gardening and was a member of the Mushroom Club, Bob and Lace Club and the Weaving Club, she also enjoyed pottery. Janet owned her own bookkeeping business serving many small businesses in the area for many years. She is survived by her daughter Sarah Smith and husband Michael of East Hampton, her son Nathan Palermo and his wife Soulinda of Niantic, her sister Carolyn Doutre of Preston, her three grandsons Syd St. Onge, Sean Smith and Jacob Palermo, and her niece Jennifer Doutre and nephew Jeffery Doutre. Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home 112 Main St. East Hampton on Tuesday February 18th from 5:00PM until 7:00PM.
