Frank J. Mikullitz, Jr. January 15, 1941 – June 16, 2026 Frank J. Mikullitz, Jr., 85, of East Hampton, CT, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 16, at Hartford Hospital, surrounded by his beloved family.
Beloved husband of Anne (Cusack) Mikullitz, Frank was born on January 15, 1941, in Hartford, CT, to the late Frank J. Mikullitz, Sr. and Genevieve (Paganelli) Mikullitz. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Yorktown in the early 1960s.
Frank devoted more than 35 years to his craft as a commercial electrician and was a proud member of IBEW Local 35. He took great pride in his contributions to commercial projects throughout the greater Hartford area and across Connecticut, leaving behind a legacy of skilled, dedicated work.
Above all, Frank cherished his family. He will be forever remembered for his deep love for his wife, his children and grandchildren, his boundless energy, his infectious laughter, his generous spirit, and the joy he so naturally brought to everyone around him.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, John Mikullitz and his wife Patricia, of Boston, MA, and Mark Mikullitz and his wife Carrie Durant, of Larchmont, NY; his daughter, Kathleen Durkin and her husband Edward, of Montclair, NJ; and six beloved grandchildren: Cadence, Madeline, Frances, William, Alexander, and David.
Friends may call at Spencer Funeral Home, 112 Main St., East Hampton, on Wednesday, June 24th, from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at St. John Paul II Parish of St. Patrick Church, East Hampton, followed by burial in the family plot at St. Patrick Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
