Francis Kehoe, IV Obituary

With a heavy heart, we announced the unexpected passing of Francis X. Kehoe IV, known affectionally as Frankie, at his home, on November 20, 2024. Born on November 11, 1973, Frankie was the cherished son of Frank X. Kehoe and Margaret Reimer Kehoe, and grew up in East Haddam, CT, in Laurel Cove, on Bashan Lake. Frank graduated from Xavier High School and Keene University with a degree in environmental science.

Frank was involved in many youth organizations growing up and was active in cub scouts and Boy Scouts, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Troop 22.  He was an excellent snow boarder and worked as an instructor at Mount Snow for several seasons. He also enjoyed golf, especially playing in family tournaments with his father, uncles and cousins.  Growing up on Bashan lake, and with regular visits to Aunt Margie’s Candlewood Lake, he developed a love of water, nature and adventure.  Frank was an avid and accomplished water sports athlete.

Above all, Frank’s greatest joy was his daughter Logan, the light and love of his life.  He took immense pride in watching her flourish as an excellent student and accomplished musician.

Professionally,  Frank was a respected project manager for Whitestone Associates and EnviroTrac Environmental Services where he conducted  environmental studies on properties requiring remediation.  He was highly regarded and well known in his industry.

Frank was a gifted musician.  He played in many groups and as a solo artist.  He wrote and recorded his own songs writing both the music and lyrics.   He also had a passion for dirt bike and motorcycle riding, skillfully maintaining his own bikes.

Frank is survived by his daughter Logan, her mother, Kimberly Kehoe, his mother, Margaret, as well as his uncles and aunts and many cousins. Also left to mourn him is Frank’s significant other Alicia Karsky with whom he enjoyed the beaches of Rhode Island and Florida with friends and family.
