Frances (Zawisza) Robinson, 97, of East Hampton, widow of Clarence Robinson passed away peacefully at her home on Monday Sept. 30, 2024. Born Aug. 27, 1927 at home in Hebron, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marcella (Warchot) Zawisza. Frances worked at Gong Bell in East Hampton before raising her family and then at Brownell Company in Moodus after her children were grown. Frances was a communicant of St. Patrick Church in East Hampton. She is survived by her son Lionel S Robinson II of East Hampton, her two daughters Marcella Alberti (Peter) of East Hampton, Susan Chamis (Doug) of Florida, her grandchildren Naomi Landry, Cassandra Chamis, Frances Monk, Ty Alberti, and her great grandchildren Joseph and Peter Monk, Ryder Alberti, Elodie and Aeris Landry. She was predeceased by her siblings Stanley and Edward Zawisza, Caroline Lamphere, Mary Smith, Josephine Gondek, Charlotte Savitski, Genevieve Rankl, Helen Robinson and Pauline Gamache. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday October 3rd at 11AM in St. Patrick Church in East Hampton. Burial will follow in Rock Landing Cemetery in Haddam Neck.
