Eileen Bernadette (Gleason) LaFountain

Eileen Bernadette (Gleason) LaFountain, 68, of East Hampton, beloved wife of Patrick LaFountain passed away Friday June 26, 2026, at Middlesex Hospital. Eileen was born October 28, 1957, in New Britain, CT. She was the daughter of the late Milton Gleason and Helen Kosakowski Gleason. She met her husband Patrick LaFountain in high school in Enfield, CT in 1973. They have been together ever since that time and have lived together in East Hampton since 1984. They married on May 21, 1977, and have been married 49 years, and have two children together Meghann Eileen and Justin Patrick.  Eileen had worked for the State of Connecticut in the accounting office for the Department of Revenue Services. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her twin brother Milton Mark Gleason and her nephew Nathan Harrison. She is survived by her husband Pat and her two children and their spouses Meghann LaFountain and her husband Brendan McGann of Meriden and Justin LaFountain and his wife Julia LaFountain of Wethersfield. She also leaves her sister Mary Anne Dahlia, sister Katherine Harrison and her husband Brett, and sister Elizabeth Gleason along with her nieces and nephews. A private funeral will be held at St. Patrick Church. In lieu of flowers or donations please give your loved ones a big hug because you never know what is going to happen.
