Donald E Harris

Donald Eugene Harris, 67, of East Hampton, beloved husband of Christine (Loos) Harris passed away at his home with his loving wife and beloved Mini Aussie, Dakota, by his side after a valiant battle with ALS. Born Sept. 1, 1957 in Middletown he was the son of the late Kenneth and Elizabeth (Eldred) Harris. Donald had worked as a System Administrator for Webster Bank until his retirement. Donald was a member of the Professional Association of Diving Instructors and had a passion for SCUBA diving. He enjoyed Legos, Disney, Star Wars, Hiking and Photography.

Besides his wife he is survived by his two daughters Melissa Harris of East Hampton, Sharon Harris of Southington, a sister Betty Kowalczyk of Middletown, and two nieces Michelle and Kristine Kowalczyk both of Middletown. Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home 112 Main St. East Hampton on Friday Nov. 8th from 6:00PM until 8:00PM, there will be a service held at 7:30PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donation in his name may be made to the ALS society of Connecticut at www.alsunitedct.org.
