Dolores M. Mazzarella

Dolores M. Mazzarella, 98, of Higganum, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. Born Sept. 3, 1925 in New Britain, CT, she was the daughter of the late Aldo and Marie (Misteri) Veronesi.  Dolores was a long time resident of Higganum and a parishioner of St. Peter Church. Dolores was predeceased by her husband Salvatore Mazzarella, her son Thomas Mazzarella, her daughter Lynda Mazzarella and also by all of her siblings. She is survived by her grandchildren Britany Blau, Eric Blau and his wife Julia Blau, and their children Grayson and Gwendolyn Blau. She is also survived by her nephews Ricky and Andy Agostinucci and Jerry Veronesi. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday March 8th at 10:00AM in St. Peter Church in Higganum with burial to follow in Burr Cemetery in Higganum.
