Dolores Helen Curran 93, of East Hampton CT beloved wife of Walter J. Curran passed away peacefully at the Jefferson House in Newington,CT on Monday February 28, 2022. Born on May 19, 1929 in Amsterdam NY she was the daughter of Joseph and Bernice Zacharkiewicz.

She graduated from Wilbur Lynch High School in Amsterdam NY and later in life graduated with honors from Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner MA. Dolores is survived by her son Michael Curran of Amsterdam, NY. Daughter Karen Arsenault (Paul) of Hebron CT, Christine Curran (Jordan Murphy) of Jersey City, NJ, Patricia Curran (Paul Lounsbrough) of Laconia, NH. Paula Mattson (Phil Stearns) of Upton, MA., grandchildren Julie Feeney (Patrick), Michelle Kahn (Mallory), Corey Lounsbrough, Kristy Lounsbrough, Joseph Mattson, Chelsea Curran, and great grandchildren Owen & Leo Feeney and Casey Grace Lounsbrough. She was predeceased by husband Walter J. Curran, sons Joseph M. Curran and Edward J. Curran.

A Private Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St Patrick Church in East Hampton, CT. The burial will follow in the Connecticut State Veteran’s Cemetery in Middletown, CT.
