David W Wylie

David William Wylie, 78, of East Hampton, widower of the late Paula (Riley), passed away Thursday June 4th at Apple Rehabilitation in Colchester. Born April 10, 1948 in Middletown he was the son of the late Homer W. and Ebon (Gustafson) Wylie. David was a graduate of East Hampton High School and proudly served his country in the Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. He had been employed by the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation until his retirement. He was a member of the East Hampton VFW Post. He is survived by his step daughter Colleen Gosselin and her husband Michael of North Franklin, CT, his grandchildren Christopher Gosselin, Sharon Gosselin and her partner Erik Lopez, Rachel Gosselin, Marilyn Eldridge and her husband Zachary, and his great grandchildren Mia and Ozwin.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 10th at 11:00AM in the Spencer Funeral Home 112 Main St. East Hampton. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:30AM until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Skinnerville Cemetery.
