Clarence E. ("Sonny") Braun Jr.

Clarence E. “Sonny” Braun Jr., 59, of Moodus beloved husband of Pamela (Reed) Braun passed away peacefully on Wednesday Oct. 19th at Middlesex Hospital. Born Nov. 27, 1962 in Middletown, he was the son of Clarence E. and June A. (Czaja) Braun of Moodus. He was a 1981 graduate of Hale Ray High School and had worked as a carpenter and in refrigeration. Besides his parents he is survived by his wife Pamela Braun of Moodus, his son Clarence E. Braun III and wife Holly of Moodus, his daughter Heather J. Dalton and her husband Bear of Moodus, a brother Ralph Braun of East Hampton, a sister Cheryl Mims and husband Robert of East Haddam, and his three beloved grandchildren Kaliey Braun, Angeleah and Jaxon Dalton. Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home 112 Main St. East Hampton on Monday Oct. 24th from 6:00PM until 8:00PM. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held Tuesday Oct. 25th at 11AM in Lake View Cemetery in East Hampton. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
