Charles Caesar Obituary

Charles (Chuck) A. Caesar, III 70, of East Hampton, CT passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at home. He was born November 4, 1950 in Hartford, CT and raised in East Granby. He was the son of the late Charles A. Caesar, Jr. and Irene (Scott) Caesar. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Layne (Bridget) McLennan, his son Anthony M. Caesar of East Hartford; stepson Craig E. McLennan of Manchester and his brother Kenneth N. Caesar of Suffield.

Trucking and Chuck went together. He was employed for 40 years by Roncari Industries and Tilcon. He had his own rig for years crossing the country and taught tractor trailer driving. In addition to his love of truck driving, was his love for his Harley motorcycle on which he spent many an hour. He was also a lifetime member of the NRA.

At his request there will be no services. The family will gather for a private internment. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to the American Truck Historical Society.
