Cassidy Ann Rose, 27, of Portland, beloved daughter of Kathleen Rose passed away peacefully at Hartford Hospital on Friday Dec. 2nd. Born June 4, 1995 in Middletown she was a graduate of Portland High School and had attended Middlesex Community College. Cassidy had been employed at the Brownstone Bottleshop in Portland. Cassidy had been active in EPOCH Arts in East Hampton. Besides her mother she is survived by her step father Leon Naud of East Hampton, her brothers Matthew Rose, Jordan Naud, and Erik Bergman of Portland, her sisters Alyssa Rose-Naud of Portland, Jaquelyn Bergman of Bristol, uncle Jeffrey Rose of East Hartford, aunt Robin Merritt of East Hampton, cousins Liz, Josh and Kevin and best friend Brandy Justine Gomulinski and her boyfriend Albert Marciano of Oakville. She was predeceased by her grandparents Jean and Louis Rose and her uncle David Rose. Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home 112 Main St. East Hampton on Thursday Dec. 8th from 6:00PM until 8:00 PM. A Funeral service will be held Friday Dec. 9th at 10:00AM in the funeral home followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Portland. Cassidy’s family would like to thank Hartford Hospital and the team of doctors that tried their best to save her life.
