Carol Ann (Maynard) `Anderson

Carol Ann (Maynard) Anderson, 79, of Moodus, beloved wife of 35 years to Leslie Anderson passed away

on Sunday January 30th at Middlesex Hospital after a brief illness. Born May 12, 1942 in Middletown she was the daughter of the late Hilbert “Pete’ and Ida (Hyatt) Maynard. Carol had worked as a machine operator at the Brownell Company in Moodus were she retired and then took care of her grandchildren that she adored.

Carol was pre deceased by her brother William Maynard and Brother-in-Law Floyd Burr both of Higganum. She is survived by her sister Winnie Burr and sister-in-law Gloria Maynard both of Higganum. Four children Donna (Salvatore) Bartolotta of Moodus, Linwood Jr. (Jon) Skinner-Upton of New York, Arthur Sr. (Cathleen) Skinner of East Hampton and Rhonda (Joseph) Cocheran of Portland. Fourteen

Grandchildren Ryan Priest, Hailey (Zach) Catucci, Laci and Kayla Bartolotta, Bobbi-Anna, Johnny and Charity Skinner, James, Alysha and Marcus Deren, Jasmyn and Arthur Jr. Skinner and Alaina Cocheran. Six great grand children Luke, Skylar, Oakleigh, Marcus II, Quinten and Autumn. And many cousins, nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Carol loved making homemade potato candy, apple pie and playing on her iPhone. She also enjoyed knitting and spending time with her family. Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home 112 Main St. East Hampton on Thursday February 3 rd from 5:00PM until 7:00PM. Funeral services will be held Friday Feb. 4 th at 11:00AM in the funeral home.
