Camille Joseph Plourde Jr.

Camille Joseph Plourde Jr., 70, of East Hampton, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday July 28, 2025. Born December 19, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late Camille and Lillian (Cote) Plourde. Joe was a longtime resident of East Hampton. From the get-go, Joe was curious and industrious always wanting to understand what made things tick. As a youth, he held multiple paper routes for several years, enjoyed skiing with close friends on the lake, was a star basketball player, worked on cars and anything mechanical and always had time for his family. Joe was a master machinist working at A-1 Aerospace in New Britain, CT until his retirement.

 Joe is survived by his longtime partner Kathleen York, two sons Levon Plourde of AZ, Daniel Plourde of East Hampton, two brothers Thomas Plourde of Marlborough, Anthony (Louise) Plourde of Enfield, sister Elizabeth (Steven) Steinkamp of Portland, granddaughter Adriana and several nieces and nephews and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Deborah Hawkins.
