Andrew John Guzallis

Andrew John Guzallis, 82, of Niantic and formerly of East Haddam, beloved husband of Edith (Brignola) Guzallis passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday January 13, 2026. Born in Passaic, New Jersey on  February 14, 1943 he was the son of the late Andrew and Lena (Adamo) Guzallis. Andrew worked as a machinist at Pratt & Whitney until his retirement. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Bridget Church in Moodus, family was the center of his life as was demonstrated by his commitment to charity and community. Besides his wife of 61 years, he is survived by his three sons and their spouses Andrew P. Guzallis and Jenela of Niantic, Jon J. Guzallis and Linda of Salem, Christopher Guzallis and Shelley of Deep River, his daughter Laura Guzallis and her husband Bryan Kaehler of Costa Rica, his brother David Guzallis of CA, his six beloved grandchildren Stephen, Michael, David, Addie, Hutch, and Olivia. He was predeceased by two brothers Peter and Robert Guzallis.

A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday January 22nd at 12 Noon in St. Bridget of Kildare Church in Moodus. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Knights of Columbus of St. Bridget of Kildare, 47 West High St. East Hampton, CT 06424.
