Agnes Christina “Chris” Lorenc, 84, of East Hampton passed away Monday January 5th at Middlesex Hospital. Born February 3, 1941, in South Kingstown, RI she was the daughter of the late Harold and Ruth (Hayes) Whiting. Chris was a retired Psychiatric Nurse having worked at CT Valley Hospital in Middletown for over 35 years and then for Capital Region in Hartford as a visiting nurse. Chris was a communicant of St. Patrick Church in East Hampton and was active in the East Hampton Senior Center. She was a past member of the Old Home Days and a former member of the Lions Club. She is survived by her daughter Christina Bernard of East Hampton, her two grandsons Cody and Dylan Bernard and her great granddaughter Bella Bernard. She was predeceased by her two brothers John and Harold “Buddy” Whiting.
A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday January 15th at 11:00AM in St. John Paul II Parish of St. Patrick Church in East Hampton. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. To Leave online condolences please visit www.spencerfuneralhomeinc.com.
