Pearl E. Ollayos, 92, of Moodus, widow of the late William Ollayos died Saturday July 21st at Middlesex Hospital. Born Aug. 12, 1925 in Tylerville, CT she was the daughter of the late Harry and Lela Emmons. Pearl was a life long resident of Moodus and had worked as a wedding and floral designer before her retirement. Pearl was a communicant of St. Bridget of Kildare Church in Moodus and was a life member of the East Haddam American Legion Auxiliary, a member of the East Haddam Historical Society, member of the East Haddam Grange and a member of the East Haddam Red Hat Society. She is survived by her daughters Cynthia Daniels (LeRoy) of Middletown, Wendy Warner (George) of Mystic, Lynanne Ritz of Niantic, sister-in-law Carol Emmons of Cromwell, 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Norman Emmons and sister Alice “Nadage” Villa. Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home 112 main St. East Hampton on Thursday July 26th from 5:00PM until 7:00PM.
