Morris Allen York

Morris Allen York, 87, of Marlborough, died Friday, April 12, 2019 with his loving wife by his side. Born November 24, 1931, in Portland, Maine he was the son of the late Robert E. York and Minnie L. (Ballard) York. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Marion (Caffyn) York, son Timothy York of Marlborough, son Morris York and his wife Christina of Stafford Springs, grandchildren Robert, Jessica, and Korey, and great grandchildren Frederick, Drew, Juliana, Jonah, and Vera. He was predeceased by his brothers Harold, Leslie, Donald, Robert, Fred and Merton, his son Kevin, and his great grandson Leon. Morris was a Korean War Veteran of the 7th Cavalry Division, he enjoyed hunting with his 30-30, taking yearly family trips to Alaska, and gardening every May. Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home, 112 Main Street East Hampton, on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM, with burial to follow at Marlboro cemetery.
