Marion A. (Caffyn) York

Marion Anetta (Caffyn) York, 78, of Marlborough, died Tuesday Sept. 10th at Middlesex Hospital. Born Aug. 11, 1941 in Hartford she was the daughter of the late William and Anetta (Marsh) Caffyn Jr. Marion was a life long resident of Marlborough. She was predeceased by her husband Morris York Sr. in April after 58 years of marriage. Marion enjoyed their yearly trips to Alaska, and she enjoyed cooking, but most important to her were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her sons Timothy York of Marlborough, Morris York and wife Christina of Stafford Springs, her brother William Caffyn III, her sister Linda McKelvey, grandchildren Robert, Jessica and Korey, great grandchildren Juliana, Jonah, Vera, Fredric, and Drew. She was predeceased by her son Kevin, her brother Larry, and great grandson Leon. Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home 112 Main St. East Hampton on Monday Sept. 16th from 10:00AM until 11:00AM with burial to follow in Marlboro Cemetery.
