Leon Xavier Lapierre, age 3, beloved son of Jessica York and Fredric Lapierre Jr. died at home in Stafford Springs on Saturday April 22, 2017. Leon was born Feb. 20, 2014 in Stafford Springs. Leon was a sweet little boy who loved flowers. He loved animals and was very gentle with them. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Besides his parents he is survived by his two brothers Fredric Lapierre and Drew York, his maternal grandparents Morris and Christine York, paternal grandmother Robin Pelc, great grandparents Morris and Marion York and Gloria Brown, great great grandmother Annetta Caffyn, uncle Robert York, aunts Brandice Lapierre, Echo Ayers, his best friend Nate Gagne and many cousins. A memorial wake in celebration of Leon’s life will be held Friday April 28, 2017 in the Spencer Funeral Home 112 Main St. East Hampton, CT from 6PM until 8PM. Burial will be private.
